How to apply for post 16 courses

UCAS Progress

Most local Post 16 education providers prefer online applications through a system known as UCAS progress. UCAS progress is a website which allows students to search for and apply to a huge range of Post 16 courses and if you plan on applying for a place at Hampton College or Hampton Gardens Sixth Form this is the best way of doing so.

At the beginning of Year 11 all students will be provided with a username and password for the system. The school will also hold an assembly explaining to students how to use UCAS progress and will be given opportunities to attend sessions in our computer suites where a member of staff will be available to guide them through the application process.

If you want to know more about the different types of apprenticeships, the National Apprenticeship Service have produced an excellent guide which can be downloaded here.
